Future

After the success of the 2005 expedition, the team is looking forward to a new challenge: in late November 2008, they will be returning to the bottom of the earth. This time, they are even more determined to bring the issues behind their journey into the public eye. These are their main aims:

Highlight climate change concerns
Test the first ever bio-fuelled vehicle in Antarctica
Undertake science experiments

'Next time, we'll be taking two support vehicles. And I'm going to try to remember more of it. Make a picture in my mind as often as I can.' Andrew Regan

'After our 2005 expedition, we could see that it did work, so this year [2008], we're going to do the whole trip: coast to coast across the Antarctic.' Andrew Moon

'I've got six kids. I'm hoping that the next expedition will spark some genuine interest for the Antarctic in schools.' Andrew Regan
